I live in BC Canada and I am not sure whether I should see my family doctor for a pap test or a gynecologist. I’m not even sure if I can make an appointment with a gynecologist without a referral. Does anyone know anything? thanks

I was wondering this as I am going to my first exam (i’m 15). I don’t even think a woman would want to do this???!!! Who wants to look at vaginas all the time? I am sure they get “fun” out of delivering a baby and all that stuff but who really wants to perform pelvic exams [...]
